The project consists of a new maintenance facility for DART light rail vehicles. The project includes a 378-foot-long cleaning platform, three miles of utilities, two and a half miles of underdrain, and 550 tons of structural steel. The structure is composed of a 72,271-square-foot building with a mezzanine level and second floor for a total of 92,545 square feet, including additional finished office space. The facility has the capability of housing five trains simultaneously for maintenance.
